Barry Jones is the co-owner of Silo No8 with more than 18 years extensive experience in a variety of civil engineering design practices, PLC, private and social housing, industrial and commercial developer and main contractors. His diverse portfolio has enabled him to work for highly respected civil, structural, and geotechnical consultancies, developers and main contractors across the UK. Early into his career, Barry received professional sponsorship to study HNC and later BSc in Civil Engineering and, since then, has enjoyed full-time senior management team roles where his skills in management, strategy and innovation have been at the core of his career success. Barry is a member of Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).

Barry has a proven track record of forging strong professional relationships and possesses exemplary strategic skills in operations and contract management underpinned by sound decision making in challenging industry environments. Barry is passionate about innovation in building technology and fostering modern methods of construction in development. Throughout his career Barry has built a valuable network amongst consultants and contractors and together with the right team in place, is ready to get Silo No8 successfully off the ground.
